Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is the nation’s leading emergency management and homeland security consulting firm. We seek Incident Management Team (IMT) Members to join our Response Cadre for contract-based deployments on a roster.

Successful candidates will be deployed to fill key IMT positions after major incidents. Responsibilities include operating within ICS/NIMS, supporting EOC activations, coordinating with partner agencies and ESFs, and managing logistics for field operations.

Qualifications

• At least seven (7) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or as part of an Incident Management Team (IMT).
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific training courses and/or credentials preferred.
• Completed Task Book(s) for Command and General Staff and/or Support Positions preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s tempo.
• Willing and able to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the Incident Command Systems (ICS) and National Incident Management (NIMS) frameworks.
• Support activation and operations of Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) during incidents and exercises.
• Support the successful completion of our client’s incident objectives and coordinate with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs).
• Coordinate logistics and resource management to support field operations and mission execution.
• An understanding of the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents.
