Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking an Import Manager to lead import purchasing and inventory planning for products across our network. You will oversee Import Buyers, drive forecasting accuracy, and coordinate transfer planning for Mixing Centers and hub locations.

The role requires 5+ years in purchasing/forecasting in a distribution setting, plus leadership experience and vendor management skills. This is an on-site, full-time position located in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, inventory planning, supply chain, or procurement experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with imported products, forecasting, and inventory management in a distribution setting.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Import Buyers; set performance expectations and provide training.
• Own inventory planning and forecasting for all import product categories.
• Create and maintain transfer forecasts for Mixing Centers and hubs; support labor planning.
• Manage excess and slow-moving inventory and develop action plans.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and communicate forecasts to suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Category Management, Purchasing, and Finance.
• Develop reports on inventory health, purchasing performance and process improvements.
