Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Import Planner to manage in-season and pre-season import product planning. The role involves end-to-end forecasting, data consolidation, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with capacity and financial goals.

The position requires strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering accurate projections and actionable insights. Hybrid work arrangements are available in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in analytics, management consulting, or merchandise planning is preferred.
• Experience with Statistical Analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end import forecasting process, delivering and presenting weekly import projections.
• Lead consolidation, validation, and reporting of complex shipping and PO data to support merchandising, inventory, and finance.
• Serve as the primary planning partner for import volume forecasting at class, container, and component levels.
• Drive forecast accuracy by analyzing inputs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Operations, Finance, Transportation, and Senior Leadership on quarterly plan updates and long-range capacity planning.
• Identify risks and opportunities and improve forecast methodologies for inventory flow and cost management.
