Job summary

Koyorad is seeking an Import-Export Assistant in Irvine, CA to support daily logistics and trade operations. You will work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipments and excellent service.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication, with responsibilities spanning documentation, cost tracking, and data management. A BA degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA degree required.
• Strong problem-solving with proactive mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
• Interest in logistics, freight forwarding, and import/export operations.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and process container orders and invoices.
• Provide import documents to customers.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shipment movements with carriers and forwarders.
• Track freight costs and logistics expenses; manage records.
• Be the main point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.
• Act as liaison between customers and manufacturing plants.
• Identify and resolve issues between customers and factories to ensure orders are fulfilled.
• Assist data analysis and database maintenance.
• Assist inventory control and perform additional duties as assigned.
