Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an Import Compliance Specialist in Miami, FL to oversee shipment import processes from entry to resolution. You will handle ISF, entry processing, and government agency releases with a focus on regulatory compliance and customer service.

The role requires 3 years of brokerage or entry experience, strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Occasional weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of entry writing or brokerage operation experience.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States).
• Knowledge of FDA/OGA process.

Responsibilities

• Classify import items and notify Customs to determine duties.
• Train and advise team on Customs regulations, classification and valuation.
• Maintain expertise in US Customs regulations and clearance processes.
• Maintain and update all customs compliance documentation for audits.
