Subtitle

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role serves as a subject-matter expert in Customs and Brokerage compliance, ensuring our organization maintains full adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Partner Government Agency requirements.

Your profile

Your Duties

• Perform advanced HTS classifications and determine country of origin using expert regulatory knowledge
• Evaluate tariff exposure (including Section 301, 232, 122, and others) to determine compliant treatments and duty impacts
• Lead internal entry audits, identifying issues, determining corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to CBP/PGA standards
• Resolve escalated compliance questions and guide consumption entry processing
• Independently manage Post Summary Corrections (PCs) and Protest filings
• Validate and approve Customs Powers of Attorney (POAs)
• Resolve documentation discrepancies with sound independent analysis
• Review and authorize daily duty payments to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct root-cause analysis on compliance issues and recommend solutions
• Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to internal teams
• Contribute to system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain meticulous recordkeeping for audits and regulatory reviews
• Perform high-level tasks and special projects requiring strong judgment and minimal oversight
