Job summary

UMass Med School is seeking an Implementation Support Specialist II to help organizations and teams implement innovations. You will work with investigators, directors, and partners to contextualize strategies, build capacity, and sustain improvements.

The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration and training to enhance implementation outcomes. The position is part-time in Shrewsbury, MA, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, co-design of tools, and ongoing support for implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience with planning and collaboration.
• Empathetic, curious, strong critical thinking; commitment to equity in implementation.
• Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and standard software.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate active involvement of stakeholders in all stages of the design and implementation process.
• Bridge people or groups in a system that are vital for the success of an implementation initiative.
• Lead collaborative implementation planning and co-develop plans with stakeholders.
• Select models, frameworks, measures, and tools to guide implementation efforts.
• Build consensus with teams, organizations, and systems around initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to assess implementation capacity strengths and needs.
