Job summary

Strive - GTM Talent Partner is seeking an Implementation Engineer for APIs & Integrations in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on owning customer implementations from discovery through launch, configuring integrations, and troubleshooting complex API-driven environments.

You will work directly with customers, diagnose issues, and develop robust solutions using REST APIs, JSON/XML, and related tools in a hands-on, non-routine capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on REST API experience, including testing and troubleshooting integrations.
• Experience in Integration Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a similar technical role.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or PHP, JSON/XML, and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work directly with customers on technical challenges.

With an established international presence and an expanding US market, the company is growing its technical team to support increasingly complex customer implementations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, technical role for someone who knows APIs, understands how systems connect, and enjoys solving complex integration problems.

You’ll own customer implementations from discovery through launch, working directly with customers to understand their technical environments, configure integrations, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions. This is not a traditional implementation or project coordination role. You’ll be expected to investigate problems, work with code and data, and take ownership of getting things working.

The role is well suited to someone with experience in Integration Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical position.
