First Place for Youth is seeking a Resource Specialist in San Francisco to run youth-focused workshops, provide individualized support, and build critical community resources in the Bay Area. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in youth services or workforce development, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, business, education or related field.
• Two years of full-time social work or casework experience preferred.
• Two years’ workforce development experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with youth.

Responsibilities

• Teach and motivate youth with workshops on career, education, and employment skills.
• Provide 1-on-1 drop-in support towards education and employment goals.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships and resource referrals.
