Job summary

Police Athletic League in New York City seeks a Content Specialist to support program quality across after-school and youth initiatives. You will report to the Program Director and collaborate with staff and partners to implement PAL curricula and meet funder requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least two years of curriculum development or coaching experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Education, Youth Development or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of curriculum development, observation, training and coaching experience.
Ability to travel to PAL locations across the five boroughs.

Responsibilities

Foster social and emotional competencies and well-being in a safe, inclusive environment.
Provide professional development to frontline staff in classroom management and facilitation.
Observe and evaluate program implementation, offering coaching.
Ensure alignment with PAL policies, SACC regulations and funder requirements.
Coordinate with site partners to grow creative programming opportunities.
