Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Youth Career Coach to guide 16-24 year-olds through career exploration and education pathways. You will provide personalized coaching, mentorship, and resources to help youth identify interests, strengths, and goals, then develop strategies to achieve them and transition into work or higher education.

You will build relationships, empower participants to overcome barriers, and ensure documentation, reporting, and contract requirements are met

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum, public speaking and content development.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Bachelor's degree as listed or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build one-on-one relationships to aid in employment and retention goals.
• Empower at-risk youth to overcome barriers and explore career options.
• Provide case management and follow-up with participants.
• Complete enrollment documentation and maintain contract compliance.
• Facilitate professional development workshops and coordinate programs.
• Maintain client databases and ensure post-placement contact when required.
