Job summary

Mental Health America of South Central Kansas is seeking a Warm Line Peer Specialist to provide telephone support and resource information to callers. You will complete required documentation for each call and coordinate crisis referrals when needed.

The role requires peer identification, reliable access to a company phone and laptop, and the ability to attend required trainings. Flexibility to cover at least one shift per week after training is expected.

Qualifications

• Must identify as a Peer and have an agency phone and laptop.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with callers and staff.
• Ability to complete required documentation for each call and attend trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support and resource information to Warm Line callers.
• Refer callers to community resources when appropriate.
• Refer crisis calls to COMCARE CRISIS via 3-way calling.
• Complete required documentation for all calls during the shift.
• Report situations/concerns to Warm Line staff.
• Meet submission deadlines for documentation and timesheets.
