Job summary

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency is seeking a VR Supervisor to lead a team focused on delivering high-quality employment services to individuals with disabilities. The role blends leadership, case management, and program oversight to ensure effective support toward employment and independence.

The position requires directing staff, managing operations, and ensuring compliance with federal and state standards, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of job-related subordinate management experience in a human service delivery program.
• OR Certification and two (2) years of job-related subordinate management experience in a human service delivery program.
• OR Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Mgr 1, Social Svcs (SSM010) or equivalent position.

Responsibilities

• Oversees service delivery across multiple units or program areas, ensuring quality, consistency, and effectiveness.
• Manages daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, workflow management, and performance outcomes.
• Ensures programs meet federal, state, and local standards, including documentation, reporting, audit readiness, and overall agency compliance.
• Protects vulnerable populations and promotes community well‑being.
• Monitors program outcomes, analyzes data, and implements initiatives to improve client success, service accessibility, efficiency, equity, and effectiveness.
• Directs subordinate multidisciplinary staff, providing coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and service continuity.
