Job summary

Catholic Charities Wichita is seeking a Mission-Focused SSVF Intake Coordinator to streamline the enrollment process for veterans at risk of homelessness. Located in Wichita, KS, this full-time, in-person role supports HP and RRH veterans and works closely with the SSVF team.

You will handle calls, determine eligibility, complete intakes, enter data into HMIS, coordinate with landlords, and assist with housing placements while maintaining program compliance and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of case management experience in homelessness or related field.
• Knowledge of housing resources and government assistance programs.
• Proficient with Windows and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and filter all calls to SSVF.
• Determine eligibility for services.
• Complete all intakes.
• Enter veteran information into HMIS and agency systems.
• Submit initial payments to maintain housing.
• Coordinate with landlords to obtain required documentation (lease copies, W9 forms).
• Transition cases to an SSVF case manager for ongoing services.
