Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Training Manager to provide operational leadership for workforce training programs across licensed Vocational School and development systems. You will supervise staff, align training with labor market demand, and ensure outcomes like credential attainment and employment.

This role focuses on curriculum quality, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven program improvement across multiple locations and virtual environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of workforce development, education, training, or vocational program experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading instructional or workforce development teams.
• Experience managing staff responsible for employment, training, or educational outcomes.
• Knowledge of workforce development systems and career pathway models.
• Experience aligning training with labor market demand and employer needs.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
• Experience serving Opportunity Youth and individuals with barriers to employment.
• Experience using data to improve performance and outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and driver’s license requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support trainers, instructors, volunteers and lead training staff.
• Manage day-to-day workforce training operations across multiple locations and virtual environments.
• Lead implementation of academic and workforce training strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery, instructional standards, and participant experiences.
• Conduct classroom observations and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Foster a culture focused on employment outcomes, accountability, customer service, and student success.
• Provide ongoing coaching, professional development, and performance management for staff.
