Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and valid Texas teacher’s certification
• Experience with RTI processes and data-driven instruction preferred
• Reading and/or Math specialist certification preferred
• Bilingual/ESL Spanish certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily focused instruction in small groups in math or literacy
• Monitor student progress and document measures for SSP meetings
• Diagnose needs and prescribe instruction with progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers in PLCs and grade-level meetings
• Participate in district professional development and interventions
• Coordinate with Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators and Title I specialists
• Report progress to school administration
• Uphold school policies and professional standards
