The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Texas teacher’s certification, with experience in the RtI process. Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, an understanding of early literacy interventions, and proficiency in using assessment tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field.
• 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Experience with Response to Intervention (RtI) strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily focused instruction to struggling students.
• Assist classroom teachers in progress monitoring.
• Participate in planning with teachers to identify student needs.

Skills

Knowledge of Texas Assessment Program

Deep knowledge of intervention techniques for early literacy

Effective communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid Texas teacher’s certification

Reading and/or Math Specialist certification

Valid Texas Bilingual/ESL – Spanish Certificate/Endorsement
