Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Teaching with endorsement in Special Education.
• Background and criminal history clearance.
• Experience with FBA, BSP, PBIS.
• Experience supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BSPs.
• Provide direct support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families and staff to implement supports.
• Coach staff in positive behavior strategies and classroom management.
• Support implementation of PBIS across the school.
• Participate in IEP/MTSS and other student support meetings.
• Assist in developing behavior-related IEP goals and monitor progress.
• Provide guidance to staff and families regarding behavior supports.
• Assist in crisis prevention, response, and intervention with school teams.
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with community partners to support students and families.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
