Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, School Social Work, or related field.
• BCBA, LBS1, or Licensed/Certified Psychologist-Social Worker certifications preferred.
• Experience with elementary-aged children in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of behavioral analysis and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring safety of all students and staff.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify underlying causes; analyze data to inform interventions and monitor progress.
• Intervention Planning: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student; collaborate with teachers to integrate in classroom settings.
• Training and Support: Provide training for teachers and staff on behavior management strategies and ongoing support for implementation.
• Collaboration: Work with parents/guardians and multidisciplinary teams to support students.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze behavior data and prepare reports to inform stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
