Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Special Education teaching endorsement.
• Background clearance (criminal history).
• Knowledge of FBA, BSP, and evidence-based behavioral strategies.
• Experience supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage physically and emotionally demanding situations with professionalism and care.
• Ability to meet the physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BSPs.
• Provide direct support to students with SEB needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families to implement supports.
• Coach and train staff in positive behavior strategies and classroom management.
• Support implementation of PBIS across the school.
• Participate in IEP/MTSS and other student support meetings.
• Develop behavior-related IEP goals and monitor progress.
• Provide guidance to staff and families on behavior and SEL supports.
• Support crisis prevention, response, and intervention with school teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation per state and federal requirements.
• Collaborate with community partners and service providers.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
