Qualifications

• Diagnose, prescribe, evaluate, and guide student learning experiences, in concert with current goals and objectives; in person or remotely.
• Deliver instruction in person, face to face in a physical space, place and time determined by the District.
• Share responsibility for curriculum development and educational procedures.
• Supervise paraeducators, support staff and volunteers assisting students.
• Evaluate and assess student achievement and use information for guiding instruction.
• Provide for the care and protection of school property.
• Participate in the district’s in-service training program.
• Maintain cordial and cooperative working relations with colleagues.
• Be responsible for co-curricular matters and duties beyond regular classroom activities as determined by building principal.
• Provide comprehensive reports to parents/guardians and the principal on student progress.
• Maintain good public relations and school-community relationships.
• Demonstrate competence in the Iowa Teaching Standards.

Responsibilities
