Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of individual counseling experience
• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science with a minimum of 1 year of individual counseling experience
• Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma with a current certification (CAC/CADC/LADC II) and 1 year of supervision

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessments and eligibility interviews
• Facilitates initial treatment planning and reviews
• Completes bio-psychosocial assessments
• Provides individual and group counseling; coordinates services
• Involves families in recovery when possible
• Responds to patient grievances and complaints
• Develops aftercare and discharge plans
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
