Job summary

Northwestern University seeks a Staff Therapist for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) to provide initial assessments, brief individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention for students. Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field or doctoral degree in psychology
• Candidates must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as an independent mental health provider in Illinois
• Experience in group therapy and crisis intervention preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide brief individual and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention
• Coordinate community-based intervention programming and outreach events
• Serve as liaison to campus units and student organizations
• Provide clinical supervision and training to CAPS trainees
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees
