Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based therapy to patients with speech and language needs in a compassionate inpatient setting. You will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans and document patient progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required for practice.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
