Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized therapy for patients with speech and language needs in a hospital setting.

You will assess communication disorders, develop treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and functional communication goals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or state certification required.
• CCC Certification required for employment.
• CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree is preferred; bachelor's with field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
