Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for patients. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting, delivering evidence-based care and monitoring progress.

The position requires state licensure or certification, CCC credentialing, and CPR certification (or completion within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
