Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes evaluating and treating communication disorders, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A Master’s degree is preferred, with licensure and CCC certification required, plus CPR within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• ASHA CCC certification (Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
