Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is actively seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered speech and language therapy, evaluating needs, and delivering personalized treatment plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain communication abilities in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR; a Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ACSLPA/CCC) completed or in process.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
