Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to deliver individualized therapy for patients with speech and language needs at our rehabilitation center near Watsontown, PA. You will work with a collaborative team within a nationally recognized provider of inpatient rehabilitation services.

The role requires a state license, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire; a Master’s degree is preferred, or a BA with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
