Job summary

Encompass Health invites a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans, supporting patients toward meaningful communication outcomes in a compassionate inpatient setting.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or completion within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
