Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will develop personalized plans and track progress to improve communication abilities, contributing to a national inpatient rehabilitation leader.

We value a Master’s degree or equivalent field experience, state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR readiness, with a supportive, inclusive team culture to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (ASHA) is required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the way.
