Job summary

Encompass Health, the nation’s largest inpatient rehabilitation company, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support patients in recovery and speech-language goals within a compassionate, community-focused setting.

You will evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans, document progress, adjust therapy as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to celebrate patient victories and improve communication outcomes. Required: state licensure, CCC, CPR by hire date.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
