Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and swallowing disorders at Uniontown, OH. The role involves developing treatment plans and delivering dysphagia management under professional guidelines in outpatient rehab settings.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in SLP, Ohio licensure, and CPR certification. The position requires flexibility to rotate between locations and participate in weekend/holiday rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current licensure to practice Speech/Language Pathology issued by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with video fluoroscopic evaluation or swallowing studies (VFSS) and/or FEES, or ability to become proficient within one year.
• Registration with the Ohio Board as a supervising/CFY pathway candidate for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, establishes treatment plans, and administers a medically prescribed Speech Language Cognition and/or Dysphagia program per ASHA, Ohio guidelines, and Summa Health requirements.
