Job summary

Lagniappe Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services with minimal supervision across facilities. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management in accordance with Lagniappe guidelines and state regulations.

Essential functions cover optimizing communication and swallowing, supervising rehab staff, building strong facility relationships, and maintaining confidentiality and infection control.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for certification.
• Valid state license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients to optimize communication and swallowing skills.
• Develop initial and ongoing treatment and discharge plans.
• Supervise assistants and aides and participate in case management.
