Job summary

Jacksonville-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healthcar is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for full-time and PRN roles in Jacksonville, FL. The SLP will organize and conduct speech/language programs, promote communication and swallowing skills, and guide resident participation to restore functioning.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing goals, coordinating devices, and collaborating with the rehab team to tailor therapies.

Qualifications

• Master’s level Speech Language Pathology curriculum approved by ASHA.
• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Eligible for the ASHA CCC credential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents, set goals, implement speech therapy plans and document outcomes.
• Coordinate adaptive communication devices and train residents in their use.
• Select activities aligned with resident abilities and interests.
• Consult with rehab team to tailor therapy regimens.
• Document progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Attend care meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Supervise supportive personnel per standards.
