Reliant Rehabilitation in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver SLP services in accordance with therapy principles and Reliant standards. Responsibilities include patient screening, evaluation, treatment plan development, discharge planning, and case management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation's standards.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
• Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Improve patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
