Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for K-8 in Tolleson, AZ. Earn a $2,500 placement bonus, with full benefits, and work within a mission-driven team dedicated to students first.

The role requires ADE Special Education Certification, a Bachelor's degree, and IVP Fingerprint clearance. You will lead IEP-driven instruction, manage PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and coordinate with families and staff to support each student’s growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage PBIS program with behavior tracking and parent communication.
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings; write updates and maintain documentation.
• Conduct assessments and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies.
• Support assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
