Qualifications

• Must meet health, physical and background check requirements.
• Must hold Tennessee teaching license with endorsement in #460, #461, or #105.
• Experience with students with disabilities and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional and/or consultative services to eligible students with disabilities as per IEP.
• Attend IEP-Team meetings and assist in developing IEPs and placement decisions.
• Consult with general education teachers on accommodations and materials.
• Conduct required student assessments under federal, state, and local regulations.
• Administer data gathering assessments to guide instruction and progress discussions.
• Develop and maintain IEPs and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Manage day-to-day classroom operations and plan curriculum.
• Participate in professional meetings and ongoing development activities.
• Ensure licensure, endorsements, and professional development are kept current.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
