Responsibilities

Provide direct instructional/consultative services to eligible students with disabilities as per IEP.
Attend IEP-Team meetings and assist in program and placement decisions.
Consult with general education teachers on transition to Kindergarten.
Conduct required student assessments per Federal/State procedures.
Develop and maintain IEPs and required documentation.
Plan curriculum and prepare lessons considering individual student needs.
Maintain a disciplined, welcoming classroom environment.
Participate in meetings, conferences and professional development.
Maintain professional endorsements and licensure requirements.
