Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state contract regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• CPR certification and health clearance as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12.
• Collaborate with general education staff for planning and implementation of student programs.
• Lead/in participate in planning and implementation of specialized instruction and tutorials.
• Consult with teachers and staff to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
