Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Columbus, OH, under direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. The role delivers quality services to K–12 students and involves teamwork in planning and implementing student programs, including special instruction, tutorial assistance and staff consultation.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree and state teaching certificate; minimum one year teaching experience preferred; LBS1 endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• LBS1 endorsement preferred.
• Meets all federal/state/local requirements; CPR/health certs as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12.
• Collaborate with general education staff and plan student programs.
• Contribute to instruction, tutorials, and consultation with staff.
