Job summary

Farmington Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Irving A. Robbins Middle School. The role is 6.5 hours per day for the school year and includes supporting students with instruction and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years of college or Para Professional Assessment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to develop rapport with students and work with teachers.
• Prior experience with school age children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care/hygiene and assist with medicine regimen.
• Support instruction by carrying out lesson plans and preparing materials.
• Record student progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Escort and supervise students in class and between activities.
