Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical tasks and reinforce instructional content.
• Support students with activities like moving between rooms and using the lavatory; accompany them outside as needed.
• Work with small groups to reinforce material under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Establish supportive relationships and communicate student progress to staff.
• Operate and care for instructional equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a conducive classroom environment and implement strategies.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, field trips, and other activities.
• Serve as information resource for substitute teachers.
• Assist with material collection, distribution, and record keeping.
