Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic curriculum goals and IEP objectives.
• Ability to apply simple teaching strategies and adapt materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical tasks and reinforce instructional content.
• Help students transition between activities and move safely around the classroom or school.
• Work with small groups to reinforce material under the direction of the teacher.
• Maintain supportive relationship with students and communicate progress to staff.
