YES Prep Public Schools in Houston seeks a Special Education Inclusion Teacher to lead IEP-driven instruction in a 10-month role. The position offers a starting annual compensation of $64,000 with up to $4,000 stipends and a $4,000 signing bonus.

Eligible for Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) payments up to $102,800 depending on performance and years of service. The role includes developing rigorous lessons, data-driven progress monitoring, and close collaboration with families and content

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education, or willing to join ACP to get certified in first year.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.

Responsabilités

• Writing accurate, aligned, data-driven IEPs for students on your caseload.
• Developing rigorous lessons in your content area, in 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Setting ambitious goals with students and monitoring progress with feedback.
• Tracking student growth and creating growth plans with coach input.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents via phone, video, email.
• Creating a conducive classroom environment for academic and social-emotional development.
• Collaborating with co-planner to align daily lesson plans and resources.
• Meeting deadlines for lesson plans, grades, and work samples.
• Providing tutorials outside regular class time for additional support.
• Completing supervision duties to support student safety.
