Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an On-Site Special Education Resource Teacher in Greenfield, CA. The successful candidate will develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities, provide specialized instruction in core subjects and functional skills, and collaborate with school staff and families to ensure academic success and personal growth.

This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) starts ASAP and runs through June 5, 2026, with the possibility to extend into the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in the relevant state.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in teletherapy or online instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities in collaboration with parents and staff.
• Provide specialized instruction in core academics and functional skills, adapting materials as needed.
• Use evidence-based practices and assistive technologies to facilitate learning.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and accommodations.
• Maintain documentation of progress and IEP meetings with families and stakeholders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review progress and plan interventions.
• Support paraprofessionals and other staff working with students with disabilities.
