Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to own features from design to deployment for a GEOINT-focused application under the Chinook Program. You will develop, test, and maintain software that supports national security objectives, including RESTful services, cloud development, and containerized environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to code reviews, and participate in agile ceremonies while mentoring junior engineers and upholding secure coding

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• 4–8 years of software development experience or Master’s with less than 2–6 years.
• Proficiency with web, backend, and cloud technologies as listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain a software application for GEOINT missions.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions and APIs.
• Implement moderately complex features and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Develop and test unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps processes and containerized environments.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with Test Engineering for acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and maintain documentation.
