Job summary

Leidos is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will design, develop, and deliver modern software solutions across UI and backend, enabling GEOINT data access and secure, cloud-native architectures.

Work in an Agile team building microservices, REST APIs, and web apps with React/Node.js/Flask or Spring Boot, using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field with 4–8 years of experience, or Master's with 2–6 years.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph ability.
• Proficiency with web technologies, programming languages, cloud, databases, OS, and Git.
• Experience with CI/CD and agile tools; knowledge of RMF/STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that support GEOINT missions.
• Participate in agile sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Build and maintain secure, containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Develop RESTful APIs and user interfaces with React, Node.js, Flask or Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Handle prioritized tasks from the product owner.
