Job summary

Wellmark is seeking a software professional to contribute as part of an agile product team. You will design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document software solutions supporting Wellmark’s strategy and regulatory needs, while collaborating with provider pricing and data stakeholders.

You’ll work across technology to implement scalable data and integration solutions, focus on automation and data quality, and ensure security and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or related field.
• 1 year of software development experience or 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Accuracy and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and production support for key software applications and systems.
• Define, analyze, estimate, develop, test, implement, document and maintain programs.
• Partner with UX to improve user experience, accessibility.
• Resolve technical problems for on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid applications.
• Support root-cause analysis and optimization; propose solutions.
• Communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
