Job summary

New York Junior Tennis & Learning seeks a Social Work Manager to provide professional development and program support for NYJTL's network of social workers across NYC after-school programs. Utilizing strengths-based and restorative practices, you will coordinate systemwide social work initiatives and support services across DYCD-funded sites.

You will lead training, mentoring, and collaborative efforts with site directors and program leadership, reporting to the Chief Education Officer.

Qualifications

• MSW required from an accredited school of social work.
• New York State LMSW or LCSW license required.
• Minimum of 5 years post-MSW professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory, management, or staff development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with school-aged youth and families.
• Experience developing and facilitating professional development workshops and trainings.
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Russian strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, coaching, professional development, and technical assistance to ~42 part-time social workers.
• Conduct regular site visits to support implementation and provide coaching.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive professional development plan for social work staff.
• Facilitate regular social work content convenings and learning sessions.
• Design trainings on youth development, trauma-informed care, restorative practices, crisis intervention, family engagement.
• Mentor and coach social workers to strengthen intervention and programmatic practices.
• Facilitate cross-site collaboration and knowledge sharing across ACES sites.
• Support consistency and quality of social work services across DYCD-funded sites.
